Kent Jobe is originally from Early, Texas and is a 1996 graduate of Harding University . He graduated with degrees in religious education and youth ministry. He married the former Cara Wilson of  Pocahontas, Arkansas in
June of 1997. They both taught at Mobile Christian School in Mobile,
Alabama for 4 years. Kent received his Master’s degree in Religion from
Southern Christian University in Montgomery, Alabama in May of 1999. He
has completed two programs in biblical counseling and has taught several
classes for Faulkner University. He served as a part-time youth minister
and campus minister for the University Blvd. Church of Christ for 4
years in Mobile and was the youth and family minister for the College
Avenue church of Christ until November 2007. Kent is currently serving
as the Minister of Discipleship. Kent and Cara have two sons: Derek (7
yrs.) and a Austin (3 yrs.) and are expecting a little girl in February
2008. |
